All files, older versions and SHA-256 checksums are in the downloads folder. RMS runs on Windows 10/11 (64-bit), Windows 10 (32-bit), macOS and Linux (Ubuntu/Debian .deb and AppImage). The Windows installer works without internet.

How do I install it?

    Download

    Choose the installer for your computer above and save it.

    Install

    Open the installer. Windows may show 'Windows protected your PC': click More info, then Run anyway. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open the first time.

    Set up your shop

    Choose your kind of shop, type the shop name and address, and create the owner's PIN. It takes about three minutes.

    Start selling

    Your 14-day trial with every Pro feature starts on its own. No card, no internet and no sign-up needed.

Windows

If SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway. The installer needs no internet.

macOS

Drag RMS to Applications. The first time, right-click it and choose Open, or allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Linux

Install the .deb with sudo apt install ./RMS-linux-amd64.deb, or make the AppImage executable (chmod +x) and run it.

RMS runs on ordinary shop PCs and laptops.

Why does Windows say 'Windows protected your PC'?

The installer is not yet code-signed with a paid certificate, so Windows SmartScreen shows a warning for new programs. Click More info, then Run anyway. Only download RMS from getrms.com.

Do I need internet to install or activate?

Selling, printing, reports, backups and licence activation all work without internet. The shop's records stay on its own computer. Internet is needed once, at setup, to register the business.

Will my data be lost when the trial ends?

If the trial or a licence ends, RMS becomes read-only: the shop can still view, print, export and back up its records. Data is never locked away.

Can I install it on two computers?

You can try RMS on as many computers as you like. A paid licence is for one computer; each extra computer needs its own licence.
