What should car wash management software handle?
A car wash is a service business with a stock problem hidden inside it. Every package uses shampoo, wax, tyre shine and microfibre, and the price depends on the size of the vehicle. RMS handles both sides. Each package has a price per vehicle type, so a full wash on a compact car and on a large SUV bills correctly without anyone checking a price chart. Each package also lists the supplies it uses, and they leave stock with every wash.
That means you can see what a full wash really costs you, and RMS warns you when shampoo reaches its reorder point instead of on the busy Sunday when it runs out.
How do memberships and loyalty keep customers coming?
Sell a monthly membership, for example eight washes in 30 days or unlimited washes for a month. The customer’s washes left appear on screen as soon as their plate is found. On the wash line, choose the membership and the wash is billed at zero, so the counter never takes payment twice and never gives a free wash by mistake.
Loyalty points are another option: customers earn points on what they pay and spend them on a later wash. Free extras such as tyre shine or air freshener can print as zero-price lines so the customer sees the value.
How do I keep track of washers, tips and cash?
- Put up to two washers on each bill; commission is shared (Pro).
- Add tips to a bill and pay them out from the drawer, so tip money is never mixed up with sales.
- Take cash, card, mobile wallet or bank transfer, split a bill across them, and keep non-cash payments separate from the drawer.
- Close the day by counting your notes and coins; RMS shows short or over.
The dashboard shows today’s sales, memberships and cash in hand at a glance, in your own currency.
Try it on a busy weekend
RMS works offline, so a power cut or a weak internet line does not stop the counter. Choose “Car wash” in the setup wizard: wash packages with prices per vehicle type are ready to edit. Use every Pro feature free for 14 days, with no card needed.
