Free trial
Every installation starts with a free 14-day trial with all Pro features. No card is needed. Everything entered during the trial stays when you buy.
One licence, one computer
Each computer has a Machine ID, shown on the trial banner and in Settings → Licence. A licence key is made for that Machine ID and only works on that computer. Activation is offline: you paste the key.
Yearly and lifetime
- Yearly: RMS reminds you 15 days before the end date and allows 7 grace days after it, then becomes read-only until renewed.
- Lifetime: paid once, no end date.
New computer or reinstalled Windows
A new PC, a replaced motherboard or a fresh Windows install gives a new Machine ID. Send us the new ID and we move your licence. One transfer per licence is free in any 12 months. Bring your data across with Backup and Restore.
Read-only, never locked
If the trial or a licence ends, RMS becomes read-only: the shop can still view, print, export and back up its records. Data is never locked away.
Upgrading from Basic to Pro
You receive a new Pro key for the same computer. Your data does not change.
